Affiliate Disclosure

I believe in being as honest and transparent as possible, and with that in mind I’d like to take a second and explain the nature of affiliate links and their use on this site.

An affiliate link is like a regular link, except when you use it, the person who shared the link gets credit for any purchase that you may make in the future.

There are two ways to use affiliate links.

One is to build a business around finding affiliate relationships and then promoting them. This leads to low quality information at best, and often times sites like this are downright spammy.

The other is to build a business around sharing information and then to take advantage of affiliate relationships when they happen to line up with products and services that you recommend anyway.

I use affiliate links on this site, and they are all of the second variety.

I want to make it very clear that I will never share a link to a product or service that I don’t personally recommend based on my own experience with it or my experience with the person/business behind it.

You’ll notice that some products or services I recommend are shared with affiliate links and some aren’t. This is because I take advantage of these opportunities when they are available and easy to set up, but the lack of an affiliate program isn’t going to stop me from recommending one product over another.

Even if it would make more financial sense for me to recommend something else, I will only recommend the things that I believe are the most useful to you.

Using the affiliate links, whenever the option is there, is a way to show support for the site, and I am very appreciative of anyone that chooses to do so!

Any affiliate link that I use will not increase the cost of that product or service to you in any way – I just get a small commission.

Due to the amount of content here, I don’t identify each and every affiliate link. For simplicity’s sake, assume that a link is an affiliate link if that option was available to me, but know that that doesn’t change my recommendations at all.

Finally, please let me know if you have a problem with any recommendation that I have made, affiliate or otherwise. I’m not perfect and products and services change – if you see something ‘off’ or feel unsatisfied with a recommendation, please let me know so I can look into it.

Use the form below to report any complaints or comments you have relating to my recommendations.
